"K-9 PLAY DAYS"
General Information and
Policies
The purpose of our "Play Days" is to provide
safe and fun-filled social
enrichment experience for friendly dogs during Daycare or while as
staying
as a guest at the Resort. Your dog will go home happy, exercised and
tired,
ready to enjoy a quiet evening at home. All dogs are grouped for
compatible
size and temperament. Training is offered, too.
Let your Daycare or boarding guest join
us for playtime, agility,
wading pool, naps and snacks, all under the watchful eye of our
professional
caretakers. All dogs are screened for proper behavior and
health
before joining "Play Days". Ask for the "Daycare & Play Day"
application.
AGE: All dogs must be at least 9 weeks
of age.
SEX: All dogs 7 months or older must be
spayed or neutered.
VACCINATIONS: All dogs must have up-to-date
vaccinations; we will
accept your veterinarian’s protocol. Puppies must be vaccinated at
least
once before entering the program and twice by 3 months of
age.
HEALTH: All dogs must be in good
health. Owners will certify
that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with or
knowingly
exposed to a communicable disease in the last 30 days. Dogs that
have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will
require
veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted. All
dogs and puppies should be on a preventive topical flea and tick
program.
If fleas or ticks are seen on a dog, we will bathe it in a mild flea
repellant
shampoo and/or apply Frontline or Capstar, charging the owner
accordingly.
BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive
and not food or toy protective.
Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive
or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please
remember: Your dog will be spending time with other dogs and their
human
caregivers. The safety and health of all animals and people is our main
concern.
APPLICATION: All dogs must have a
complete, up-to-date and approved
application on file. Each year the owner shall recertify his/her
dog(s) by updating the application form.
DAYCARE FEES: A pre-paid pass, valid for
6 months from date of purchase,
is available at a reduced fee.
One day pass: $14
Five day pass: $55 ($11 per day)
Ten day pass: $100 ($10 per day)
Twenty day pass: $180 ($9 per
day)
Half-day pass: $10 per day
Additional dog: $8.00 per day per additional dog in the same
family
DAYCARE DAYS AND HOURS: 7 a.m.
to 6 p.m. weekdays.
There is a $10 charge for any pet left after
6:15 p.m. After 6:30
p.m., the daily boarding charge will be in effect and the Resort closes
for the day. If you have special needs outside these hours, please let
us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.
DAYCARE RESERVATIONS: Please make a
reservation so that we
may ensure a place for your dog.
